FRANCE 98 – Romania recover from their match against Colombia in Albi
The ROMANIA team (Group G), who won 1 – 0 against COLOMBIA, on Monday 15th June in TOULOUSE is now recovering in its headquarters in Albi (in the Department of the Tarn). On Wednesday morning 17th June, they trained in the Rigaud Stadium. Those who played against COLOMBIA had a recuperation session on the reserve pitch with the assistant trainer, while the others played a friendly match (which they won 6 – 2) against the local team, US Albi. Amongst these “reserve” players were Tibor SELYMES (20), just recovering from a sprained ankle, plus two players from the US Albi team. As for the third Romanian goalkeeper, Florian PRUNEA (22), he played keeper for the US Albi team. They all spent the afternoon watching the video of their match against COLOMBIA and the ENGLAND vs TUNISIA (Group G) fixture.
