FRANCE 98 – The Nigerians relax

The Nigerian ‘Super Eagles’ players observed a day of rest on Saturday 20 June after overrunning BULGARIA 1-0 in the Parc des Princes. As such, the national coach Bora MILUTINOVIC, apparently turning to nature, permitted the boys to reunite with their families after spending over a month in camp without seeing them. It was indeed a moment of relief for the players who, apart from going on sightseeing trips, visited some choice shopping malls and recreation centres. Training, however, resumes on Sunday 21 June at around 17h00 at the stade in Ressons-sur-Matz.
