“I’m only going to announce the line-up for the ITALY – CAMEROON match after training on Wednesday June 17th, 1998.
MORIERO (17) will play up front to help the forwards. DI MATTEO (16) is still a key player and DI BIAGIO (14) will play mid-field to spread the play. We should attack and be a lot more determined against CAMEROON than against CHILE for match n° 4.
CAMEROON is a really strong team and won a lot of matches in the qualifying stages. Against CHILE we didn’t put the match away immediately and suffered because of that. We’ve discussed it thoroughly and will try to do better.”
