At the end of the forth day of sales for individual tickets for first round and round of sixteen, five new matches were announced to be sold out Saturday 25 April at 8 p.m.

These 5 new matches are :

  • Argentina/Japan

    (n° 13), Sunday 14 June, at 2.30 p.m., at the Stadium, in Toulouse

    Brazil/Morocco

    (n° 18),Tuesday 16 June, at 9 p.m., at Stade de la Beaujoire, in Nantes

    Argentina/Jamaica

    (n° 28),Sunday 21 June, at 5.30 p.m., at Parc des Princes, in Paris

    France/Denmark

    (n° 38),Wednesday 24 June, at 4 p.m., at Stade de Gerland, in Lyon

  • Colombia/England (n° 46), Friday 26 June, at 9 p.m., at Stade Bollaert, in Lens
  • Four days after sales by telephone opened for individual tickets to residents of the 18 countries in the European Economic Space for first round and round of sixteen (except for the opening match), a total of 69,000 tickets have been sold. 15,000 tickets were sold on Saturday 25 April.

    Saturday 25 April, the France Telecom Network registered 3,3 million telephone calls – 1,3 million of them from international callers.

    France 98’s telephone platform, which closed at 8 p.m. this evening, will open again tomorrow, Sunday 26 April, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the following days, at the same hours.

    Don’t forget that reservations can only be made by telephone on the numbers given, according to the principle of “first come first served,” with a limit of 4 tickets per person per match, and with an overall limit of 16 tickets per person.

    There are three special numbers to call if you want to make reservations:

    Callers from countries in the European Economic Space (apart from France) 33 1 49 87 53 54
    Callers in mainland France 0 803 00 1998
    Callers from overseas French territories 01 49 87 53 54

    Payment for tickets ordered can be made by bank card, or failing this, a certified banker’s cheque (made out in French francs and which must be received by the French Organising Committee no later than 7 days after the order is made). Use of a card (card number) or a bank account is limited to a single order.
