FRANCE 98 – FIFA's Disciplinary Committee: the sanctions handed out. Zidane two match ban

FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee, which met today 19 June at the Hotel Méridien Montparnasse (PARIS, 14^th arrondissement), has made the following decisions after the sendings off yesterday during the Group C matches: no.21 FRANCE-SAUDI ARABIA and no.22 SOUTH AFRICA-DENMARK:

Mohamed AL KHILAIWI (3), player for SAUDI ARABIA, sent off in the 19^th minute: one match ban.

Zinedine ZIDANE (10), player for FRANCE, sent off in the 70^th minute: two match ban.

Miklos MOLNAR (9), player for DENMARK, sent off in the 67^th minute: two match ban.

Alfred PHIRI (8), player for SOUTH AFRICA, sent off in the 69^th minute: three match ban.

Morten WIEGHORST (14), player for DENMARK, sent off in the 85^th minute: one match ban.
