The Pass FRANCE 98

(Opened on November 27 1996, the sales of PASS FRANCE 98 were closed in April 1997.)

As the flagship product of the World Cup, the PASS FRANCE 98 allows you to attend in each World Cup host city:

  • all the matches of the first leg, except for the Opening Match in Saint-Denis.
  • the second round matches in all the cities hosting these matches (all the World Cup cities, except Lyon and Nantes which will not be hosting this phase of the competition).

For the 10 cities of the World Cup, the PASS FRANCE 98 allows the holder to attend 5 or 6 matches.

The PASS FRANCE 98 enables you to experience, in each city, a World Cup with :

  • 100% diversity: each team will play its first 3 matches in 3 different stadiums. Which means that in each city totally different teams will be competing in all the matches of the first leg.
  • 100% excitement: with at least 2 group winners, hence 2 of the best teams in the world will play in each city, the 1998 World Cup is sure to provide exceptional moments of excitement.
  • 100% suspense: with 8 groups of 4 teams and the qualification of only the 2 top teams of each group, each match promises to be closely contested.

SINGLE TICKETS

Single tickets for the matches of the next phases (quarter-finals, semi-finals, play-off for 3rd/4th places and Final) and for the opening match will go on sale in November 1997. These will be limited and will be subject to a draw, to provide a fairer distribution.

The sale of single tickets for the matches of the first leg will begin in April 1998, depending on ticket availability.

THE PRESTIGES FRANCE 98

2 kinds of PRESTIGE FRANCE 98 Packages are offered. The sale of these prestige products will start at the beginning of 1997, and will be directly organized by the French Organizing Committee. For further information, please contact FRANCE 98:

1.) PRESTIGE OR:

From your preferred city to the final. All the matches in the city of your choice plus the opportunity to purchase tickets for quarters, semis and finals

  • a very good seat for each match of your preferred city except Paris (5 matches), Marseille (5 matches) and Saint-Denis (6 matches)
  • option to purchase quarter and semi-final tickets for either Marseille or Saint-Denis (1 for 1)
  • option to purchase tickets for the final and 3rd place play-off for each purchase of one quarter and semi-final (1 for 1)
  • privileged reception
