FRANCE 98 – Saudi Arabia: words of encouragement from Prince Faycal

A few days before the encounter between SAUDI ARABIA and DENMARK (Group C – Match no. 5), Prince Faycal Ben Fahad Ben Abdelaziz, son of King Fahad of SAUDI ARABIA, and also minister of Youth Affairs and Sport and president of the Saudi Sports Confederation, gave a message of encouragement to his national representatives at an official dinner he hosted in at the Pré-Catelan in Paris.

“The moment of truth is at hand. You are heroes, and you will be playing against heroes. You are also ambassadors, and you must represent your country in the best manner possible.”

Today in LENS, King Fahad’s other son, Prince Sultan Ben Fahad, deputy minister of Youth Affairs and Sport, is to attend the Saudi team’s training session (17 h at the stade Bollaert).
