Statement by Egil OLSEN, NORWAY team manager (Group A)

“The team line-up isn’t very different from that which played in the World Cup in 1994 in the USA, but stronger and with more experience in attack. I had a lot of difficulty in picking the 5 midfielders so that we have strength in the air and can push forward rapidly. Tactically speaking we are defending with 10 players when the others have the ball, and when we have it we’re attacking. Our line-up is 1/5/4, and the composition of the team is as follows: “

Defence : BERG Henning / BJORNEYE Stig
