FRANCE 98 – Denmark celebrates victory against Saudi Arabia with bananas

On Friday 12 June, the DENMARK team (Group C) celebrated a victory against SAUDI ARABIA (Group C) with bananas. The Danish delegation’s doctor is actually insisting that the players regularly eat bananas that are not too ripe. In the changing rooms of Stade Félix Bollaert in LENS, the Danes and their entourage accompanied about 40 beers with their energetic fruits.

While waiting for their flight at the Lille airport, the Danish players watched the first half of the FRANCE – SOUTH AFRICA match (Group C). They arrived Saturday 13 June at 01h00, at their hotel in Saint-Cyr (Var county).
