When the Danish delegation learned of the sending off of ZIDANE (no. 10 of the FRANCE team, Group C) during the return flight after their match, there was a feeling of general satisfaction. Coach Bo JOHANSSON, however, didn’t interrupt his card game. He calmly responded, “That’s okay, but they may just come out with another ZIDANE.”

The players dined last night after the match DENMARK-SOUTH AFRICA in the company of their wives at the Hotal Paladia in TOULOUSE. After spending two days at the Hotel Frégate in Saint-Cyr-sur-mer, they will be travelling to MARSEILLE on Sunday for a Mediterranean cruise planned for the entire delegation.

Considering the players’ fatigue and the severity of the refereeing, the draw (DENMARK-SOUTH AFRICA) was not seen as being a bad result. The general feeling in the Danish team yesterday was one of relief.
