After scoring the first goal for his team, giving ROMANIA (Group G) its 1 – 0 victory over COLUMBIA (Group G), Adrian ILIE (11), the striker for his selection, feels confident about the up-coming matches: “It was a very difficult match for both teams. I think we deserved to win. Now if we win against ENGLAND, the doors are wide open to us for the second round. ENGLAND plays a very physical game and we’re relying on our technique to destabilise them. The young players of our team performed really well and they’re now the vanguard of our selection. They have a great work rate and can play in any championship.”
