World Cup FRANCE 98 – Press Releases
3 February 1997
FRANCE 98 PASSES already sold out at 1 venue in 2
Approximately ten weeks after the opening of tickets sales to the general public resident in France, the FRANCE 98 PASS (which includes the first round matches plus a round of sixteen match) has shown itself to be a brilliant success.
For the French Organising Committee, to be able to announce that FRANCE 98 PASSES at 1 in 2 of the ten host venues for the next World Cup have already been snapped up, is a considerable and significant step forward. La Beaujoire at Nantes was the first to announce a sell-out, followed by the Stade de France at Saint-Denis last December, the Stade Municipal at Marseille at the end of January, and most recently the Stade Lescure at Bordeaux, and the Parc des Princes in Paris.
