FRANCE 98 PASS: Lens sold out

Since ticket sales opened to the general public in France on 27 November last year, the Lens FRANCE 98 PASSES , comprising the first round matches and one round of sixteen match, have been selling like hot cakes. Categories 1 and 2 were the first to go, and now all the PASS seats in Category 3 have found takers.

The Stade Bollaert at Lens is the sixth World Cup stadium to be sold out, after the Stade de la Beaujoire at Nantes, the Stade de France> at Saint-Denis, the Stade Vélodrome at Marseille, the Stade Lescure at Bordeaux and the Parc des Princes in Paris. At this rate, the French Organising Committee predicts that all FRANCE 98 PASSES will be sold between now and the middle of April.

As Lens is only hosting first round matches and one round of sixteen match, this means that all seats for the World Cup matches at Lens have now been sold. The 6 matches will take place between 12 and 28 June 1998.

Reservations for FRANCE 98 PASSES for matches in the first round and round of sixteen matches in the 16th World Cup can be made in 2,500 branches of Crédit Agricole, by telephone (0 803 00 1998), by Minitel (3615 FRANCE 98) or by post (FRANCE 98, BP 1998, 75201 Paris Cedex 16).
