World Cup FRANCE 98 – Press Releases

1 April 1997

PASS 98 : Toulouse sold out

In just a few short months since FRANCE 98 PASSES went on sale to the general public in France on 27 November 1996, all those for Toulouse have been snapped up. The PASS, which guarantees tickets for all first round games and one round of sixteen match, sold out firstly in categories 2 and 3 and finally today in category 1.

Just days after closing the books on LYON 98 PASSES, the French Organising Committee is very happy to announce the conclusion of sales on all TOULOUSE 98 PASSES.

After the Stade de la Beaujoire at Nantes, the Stade de France at Saint-Denis, the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille, the Stade Lescure in Bordeaux, Parc des Princes in Paris, Stade Bollaert at Lens and Stade de Gerland in Lyon, the Stade Municipal in Toulouse is the eighth World Cup stadium to wind up PASS sales.

All World Cup tickets for the Toulouse venue are therefore now sold, namely: 5 first round matches and one game in the round of sixteen, taking place between 11 and 29 June.

As we go to press, only a limited number of category 1 FRANCE 98 PASSES for Montpellier and Saint-Etienne remain unsold. Reservations for these FRANCE 98 PASSES for first round and round of sixteen matches in the 16th football World Cup can be made at 2,500 Crédit Agricole branches, by telephone (0 803 00 1998), by Minitel (3615 FRANCE 98), or by post (FRANCE 98, BP 1998, 75201 Paris cedex 16).
