The appointment of the French Organising Committee’s Managing Director

Jacques Lambert, ex governor of Savoie, the region which hosted the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, and who was in charge of security problems for Prime Minister Pierre Beregovoy, has been named as Managing Director of the French Organising Committee for the 1998 World Cup.
