“We are very disappointed with 1 point because I think we did enough to get 3. A lot depends on the Moroccan game against BRAZIL this evening. “I am disappointed. We started badly for the first twenty minutes. Then we finally came into the match. We played well in the second half until the Scottish goal. After that, we lost our organisation and we were lucky at the end not to lose. We weren’t too lucky with the replacements during the match because they didn’t create any chances. I said to the midfielders, who were hanging back too much in the first half, to push forward more and this was better in the second half. The Brazilian match tonight is important, and we hope BRAZIL will win against MOROCCO. In any case, we are big enough to decide for ourselves if we are going to qualify or not”.

“We played very well, and we really deserved to take all 3 points, especially in the first half. We also put on a good display in the last 25 minutes. “When the Norwegians scored, we were a little demoralised but we continued to play well. I took advantage of an opening in the defence, and I saw that a Norwegian defender was out of position, and the goalie had come out, so I lobbed it in to equalise. At that moment, we were sure we were going to win. Today, we were a better team, we could have won it several times, but we didn’t quite make it. If we manage to beat MOROCCO (23 June), we still have a chance to qualify”.

“We played well but once again, we did not win. We now need to beat MOROCCO (23 June). We know that we are capable of it. The problem is that if BRAZIL gets a good result tonight, they will not need any points against NORWAY and that could be troublesome for us.”

“We are disappointed we did not win. We dominated the game for 80 minutes. There were just ten minutes when we were unlucky and NORWAY seized their chance. It all now depends on what happens in the BRAZIL – MOROCCO match (16 June at 21h00). No matter what happens, it will be easier for us than for NORWAY as we will be playing MOROCCO and not BRAZIL in the next game. However, we can expect a very difficult match as MOROCCO are playing extremely well. We know we can beat them and I can assure you that we, the Scots, will give 150% in that game.”
