” I fell very confident after this match against DENMARK and I’m very proud of my team. This is the first point scored by SOUTH AFRICA in this competition, which is very important for the future. The world cup isn’t finished for us and this is just the beginning for South African football. SOUTH AFRICA hopes to organise the year 2006 world cup. Our players reacted positively during this match. This was a very pleasant and satisfying game except for the refereeing. I’m happy as we still have a chance in this world cup whereas Saudi Arabia are knocked out. Therefore, I’m going to take this opportunity to thoroughly prepare the team for the next match against Saudi Arabia on Wednesday 24 June. Like France, we know we have to win”.
