FRANCE 98 – Cha Bum, coach of the Korea Republic team, fired Sunday 21st June
CHA BUM, the KOREAN REPUBLIC (Group E) coach, was fired by his federation this morning, Sunday 21 June, after team’s two World Cup losses (1-3 against MEXICO and 0-5 against the NETHERLANDS). He was informed of the dismissal this morning after the decision was made late last night following the match against the NETHERLANDS. KIM, his assistant thus far, is his temporary replacement and will be acting coach during their third game of the first round against BELGIUM on Saturday 25 June at Parc des Princes (PARIS). The KOREAN REPUBLIC team will train this afternoon at the stade Jerzy Popieluszko in Guyancourt (west of PARIS) at 16h00.
