FRANCE 98 – One match suspensions by FIFA for 3 players following second yellow cards

Following a decision made by FIFA, three players will be suspended from their next match for having received a second yellow card in their most recent matches. The players are: César SAMPAIO (5) from the BRAZIL team (Group D), Saïd CHIBA from the MOROCCO team (Group D) and Darren JACKSON from the SCOTLAND team (Group D). These players received this sanction during matches no.18 BRAZIL-MOROCCO (3-0) and no.17, NORWAY-SCOTLAND (1-1) on Tuesday 16 June.
