“In the match against CROATIA (Tuesday 30 June at 16h30 in BORDEAUX), I believe both teams have the same chances. We know all our opponents. All of them play in European championships and are very skilled. Our own best asset is the team spirit which has already helped against ENGLAND. I am one of the team’s strikers along with ILIE (11). The players expect a lot from us and I hope to score a goal and help the team win this match. I don’t know what factors will be decisive in this match, but I think the heat could play an important role. We are not really used to playing at 16h30, as we will on Tuesday. And for those who wonder why we dyed our hair, it dates back to our victory against ENGLAND (2 – 1) and to a bet we made in Bucharest before the tournament”.
