Lafarge, FRANCE 98’s fifth Official Equipment Supplier
The French Organising Committee for the 1998 World Cup has just signed a contract with the Lafarge Group, making it an Official Equipment Supplier to FRANCE 98.
World leaders in building materials, the Lafarge Group employs 37,000 personnel in 45 countries and posts revenues of FF 35 billion.
For the French Organising Committee, this contract is further proof of the success of its marketing programme for the next World Cup.
Following in the footsteps of the hotel Group ACCOR, the R.A.T.P., the Frisquet company and the Arjo-Wiggins Group, Lafarge becomes the fifth “Official Equipment Supplier” to FRANCE 98.
The French Organising Committee’s main partnership programme, concluded a few months ago, makes 8 major companies – Crédit Agricole, Danone, EDS, France Telecom, Hewlett-Packard, La Poste, Manpower and Sybase – the “Official Suppliers to FRANCE 98”.
