The French Organising Committee> to the 1998 World Cup and the Guilbert company have signed a partnership agreement making Guilbert an “Official Equipment Supplier” to FRANCE 98.

French market leader in the office equipment sector, Guilbert’s scope also includes the European continent with subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain and Belgium. The company posts annual revenues of more than FF 5 billion and employs 4,000 staff including 1,500 in France.

Each day, 400 Guilbert reps visit more than 4,000 customers and come away with 6,000 new orders. These figures are clear evidence of their high level of drive and motivation now to be at the disposal of the World Cup.

By the terms of this partnership agreement, Guilbert will be equipping the French Organising Committee offices in Paris and at the World Cup venues with office material.

After the hotel group ACCOR, the RATP (Paris metropolitan area rail network), Frisquet, the Arjo-Wiggins Group and Lafarge, Guilbert is the sixth company to team up with FRANCE 98 as “Official Equipment Suppliers”. And is a further instance of the enthusiasm among French companies to play a part in the 16th World Cup.
