Frisquet, Official Equipment Suppliers of FRANCE 98

Fernand Sastre and Michel Platini, Presidents of the French Organising Committee and Maurice Frisquet, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Frisquet company, officially agreed terms on 18 February whereby Frisquet would become an Official Equipment Supplier of FRANCE 98.

Founded in 1948 and with a 300-strong workforce, Frisquet specialises in gas boilers.

Frisquet, a wholly-owned French company has become a market leader in its field through its internationally renowned Research and Development department, as well as its investment programme and state-of-the-art equipment at its factories in Meaux and Torcy.

The quality and performance of its gas boilers have made Frisquet an authority in its sector. Notably, its technological accomplishments in terms of security have put Frisquet at the cutting edge of innovation and made it a byword for high standards in the industry.

After the hotel group Accor in May 1996 and the R.A.T.P (Paris metropolitan area rail network), in December 1996, Frisquet becomes the third company to team up with the French Organising Committee for the 16th World Cup in the “Official Equipment Supplier” category.
