FRANCE SECOURS, Official Equipment Suppliers to FRANCE 98
France Secours is to be an Official Equipment Supplier to FRANCE 98 in the Assistance field. The agreement was signed jointly by Fernand Sastre and Michel Platini, Presidents of the French Organising Committee, and Didier Lebret, France Secour’s Managing Director.
Through this agreement, France Secours will be forming an integral part of the World Cup organisation, making the event one that can be enjoyed by everybody in complete peace of mind.
As a general medical assistance company with 25 years experience in the French market, France Secours will provide
• Medical care for:
the 400 French Organising Committee employees during their business trips around the world,
the 12,000 volunteers at the 11 official venues in France,
the 2.5 million spectators, in addition to first-aid.
• Health care at the International Media Centre:
Round-the-clock medical facilities will be available at the Porte de Versailles where close to 9,000 members of the media will be assembling. Emergency and first-aid specialists will be on hand in the sick bay, recovery rooms and ambulances, to provide emergency treatment.
France Secours, in teaming up with FRANCE 98, and demonstrating its wide range of skills, will undoudtedly enhance its already considerable reputation among professionals and companies, while playing an indispensable part in the overall success of the 16th World Cup.
