“I’m going into the match with the same frame of mind as in 1994. We’re going on the pitch to win. This match will be nothing like the friendly we played on 30 April. We’re in the knock-out phase of the World Cup. We must win. The line-up will be announced just a few minutes before the match, but I can tell you now that DUNGA (8) will on the list. A lot of people have been saying that this is just the beginning of the World Cup. That’s not true. We’ve already played three matches and I have confidence in my team for this round-of-sixteen match. I have a message for all Brazilians: BEBETO (20) is fit. One more thing: another reason I want us to win, so that there will be even more to celebrate in the streets of BRAZIL.”
