Morocco’s World Cup preparations suffered a blow Tuesday when striker Khalid Raghib was forced to withdraw from their squad with a serious groin injury.
Raghib will be out of action for at least a month, said Morocco’s French coach Henri Michel.
Raghib, who plays for the Settat club, will be replaced on the Moroccan squad by Rachid Roki of Raja Casablanca, the leading scorer in this year’s league championship.
Morocco are in Group A of the first-round of the World Cup, along with Brazil, Norway and Scotland
