Herbert PROHASKA
Prohaska, who played for Inter Milan and A.S Roma at the end of the seventies, is someone who has really captured popular imagination in Austria, thanks to his spearheading the talented national teams made up of the likes of Krankl, Pezzey and Koncilia. In 1993, following the demise of Ernst Happel, he took over as coach but failed to help Austria qualify for the 1994 World Cup finals or Euro 96 in England. He was a successful coach with Austria Vienna before shoehorning his team into FRANCE 98, an occasion when he intends to erase the painful memories left in the minds of Austrian supporters by Italia 90.Photo Copyright AllSports, all reproduction rights retained
