Bo JOHANSSON
With the “world’s best goalkeeper (Peter Scmeichel)”, in his ranks, Bo Johansson has every reason to be confident. Under his management, and playing “old school” football, the Danes, 1992 European champions, have clinched a place at FRANCE 98 where they will try to do at least as well as “Bison” Elkjaer Larsen’s team and reach the quarter finals. To do so they will be able to count on not just their Manchester United goalkeeper, but also on Michael Laudrup – just as sharp as he was in 1986 in Mexico – and “fervent support from marvellous fans”.
