FRANCE 98 – The Romania team change of hair style

All the players of the ROMANIA team have dyed their hair yellow following a bet that they made before the beginning of the World Cup, if they qualified for the round of sixteen. Qualification having been secured before the final match against TUNISIA, the players kept their promise in the evening of Thursday 25 June after the final training session. The ROMANIA coach Anghel IORDANESCU, who for his part had promised his players that he would shave his head, has also kept his side of the bet. So it will be a colourful new-look ROMANIA team that will be taking on TUNISIA on Friday 26 June at the Stade de France in match n°45 (Group G).
