“It was a real shame to concede the goal in the last minute. The match this evening was very complicated. We found ourselves in the same situation as during the CHILE – ITALY match (group B) when they equalised in the closing minutes. This evening both teams played with great precision. On 23 June in NANTES, we’ll do all we can to win the match against CAMEROON (group B). AUSTRIA have a lot of talent, we had to try to control their game. Our players had a few chances to score this evening, we really lacked mobility during the first half. I don’t want to predict the outcome of the ITALY – CAMEROON match which takes place at 9:00 pm in MONTPELLIER. In all honesty, I’d prefer ITALY to win by more than one goal, because otherwise, the situation in group B would complicate itself further.”
