FRANCE 98 – France : Charbonnier and Dugarry unavailable

The substitute goalkeeper for FRANCE (Group C), Lionel CHARBONNIER (22) injured himself at the end of the training session Thursday morning. He has a bruised right ischium (upper leg muscle). He will be treated and rested in the days to come.

Christophe DUGARRY (21), also suffering from a bruised ischium sustained in match no. 21 against SAUDI ARABIA, will not be available for the round of sixteen match, FRANCE-PARAGUAY on Sunday 28 June in LENS. According to doctors, however, an MRI taken this morning showed that his condition is improving.
