Winger Marc Overmars scored a pair of first-half goals as Holland rallied to trounce fellow World Cup finalists Paraguay 5-1 in a warm-up match here on Monday night.
Paraguay took a third-minute lead through Jorge Campos, but the Dutch roared back with Overmars on target in the 26th and 29th minutes. Further goals followed from Patrick Kluivert of AC Milan, Frank de Boer of Ajax and Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink of Leeds United. More than 20,000 fans roared on the Dutch, who are Group E of the World Cup against Belgium, South Korea and Mexico.
