FRANCE 98 – In recognition of Batistuta's achievement, $ 25 000 donation to SOS Children's Villages in Argentina

BATISTUTA (9) of ARGENTINA takes his place in the World Cup history by scoring the first hat trick of FRANCE 98, and in recognition of this achievement, McDONALD’s will donate $ 25,000 to the SOS Children’s Villages organisation in ARGENTINA.

 As part of its first-ever McGoal! Goal! Goal! World Cup Programme McDONALD’s will celebrate any World Cup footballer who scores three goals in a single FRANCE 98 match by making a donation — up to US $1 million — in the player’s name to the SOS Children’s Villages facility in the player’s home country. 

To date, McDONALD’s has donated a total of $ 75,000 to SOS Children’s Villages: $ 50,000 for FRANCE before the opening of the World Cup, and today $ 25,000 for ARGENTINA.
