FRANCE 98 – Scotland-Morocco – Change of assistant referee

The FIFA Referees Commission has made a change to the referee line-up for match No. 34: SCOTLAND – MOROCCO, Tuesday 23 June at the stade Geoffroy Guichard in SAINT-ETIENNE. Hussein GHADANFARI (Kuwait), initially selected, has been replaced by Luis Fernando TORRES ZUNIGA (Costa Rica). Now 40, Luis Fernando TORRES ZUNIGA has been an international referee since 1993 and officiated the Olympics games in Atlanta, 1996, as well as the qualifiers for the World Cup and the under-17 World Championships in Ecuador, 1995.

This match is refereed by Ali Mohamed BUJSAIM of the United Arab Emirates, assisted by Lencie FRED (30) from Vanuatu and Luis Fernando TORRES ZUNIGA from Costa Rica. Mario VAN DER ENDE (42) from Holland will be the fourth official.
