FRANCE 98 – France: One Week Minimum Rest for Guivarc'h

Player for the France team (Group C), Stéphane GUIVARC’H (9) is suffering from ligament distortion to the left knee.

GUIVARC’H (9) was injured after a collision during the FRANCE-SOUTH AFRICA match (Group C), Friday 12 June at the Stade Vélodrome in MARSEILLE.

He underwent a magnetic resonance scan, Saturday 13 June at 15h30 at MARSEILLE’s St Joseph Hospital.

Following this, doctors have ordered GUIVARC’H (9) to rest for one week, following which, they will undertake further examinations to see how the injury has evolved.
