RADIO FRANCE, partner to the French Organising Committee for the 1998 football World Cup

On Thursday 26 June 1997, Radio France and the French Organising Committee for the 1998 World Cup (CFO), signed a co-operation agreement.

Radio France is to be the CFO’s radio partner for the 1998 Football World Cup.

The entire Radio France network will be involved, and will be offering French and foreign listeners a special series of programmes, including certain broadcasts in several languages, on both national and local wavelengths.
