FRANCE 98 – Nigeria team arrives in France

After leaving AMSTERDAM (NETHERLANDS), the Nigerian team eventually landed one and a quarter hours late at Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport on Saturday. At 13 h 00 the “Super-Eagles” left the KLM Boeing 747 to be warmly welcomed by His Excellency the Ambassador for NIGERIA in FRANCE, Mr Bunu Sheriff MUSA who was accompanied by his wife and about twenty compatriots.

After their defeat on Friday evening against the NETHERLANDS (5-1) the Nigerian national coach, Bora MILUTINOVIC, had no comment to make.

The Nigerian players Taribo WEST, Victor IKPEBA and their team-mates got straight onto the bus which took them back to their base at the Belinglise castle to the north of PARIS.
