France – State of the injured players as of 30 June
The latest news on the injured French players is not very reassuring. Emmanuel PETIT (17) went cycling this morning. After suffering cramps in the right thigh in the match against PARAGUAY (28 June), he will go on the team run tomorrow, Wednesday 1 July. However, it is unsure whether or not he will play against ITALY (3 July in SAINT-DENIS, match no. 57). Thierry HENRY (12), also went cycling, both in the morning and afternoon. Tomorrow, after the run, we will know whether his left ankle continues to bother him. If not, he should be able to play against the Italians. Finally, Christophe DUGARRY (21) went on the long forest run with the rest of the team, stopping now and then to stretch, without difficulty. The remaining pain seems to have disappeared.
