On his arrival at the team hotel in Seilh (near TOULOUSE) on the morning of Wednesday 10th June, the captain of the CAMEROON team (Group B), François OMAM BIYICK (7) confirmed that his team was relaxed. “That’s the way we are. It’s true to say that the pressure is mounting slowly, but we’re trying not to show it and to think about tomorrow’s game in a calm way. We have a real chance here and are still putting the finishing touches to our preparation”. As to their opponents tomorrow evening, François OMAM BIYICK already has a plan to deal with the physical pressure the Austrians are expected to exert : “We have to be faster on the ball than them and get into position more quickly. We also need to get our dead-ball tactics right. Tomorrow’s match against AUSTRIA will be like our final – if we lose, we can say goodbye to the second round”.
