Statement from AUSTRIA team coach (Group B), Herbert PROHASKA:

“For 90 minutes, the match was evenly poised. We defended well but we lacked cohesion and made a few technical errors. This made us chase the goal, as we did on Thursday, during the first match against CAMEROON (Group B), in TOULOUSE. I wasn’t surprised by CHILE, they played the same team as they did against ITALY. We could have caused them some more problems. We didn’t play enough along the right wing. We concentrated too much along the left side. Now everything depends on the result of the ITALY – CAMEROON match, this evening in MONTPELLIER. We still have a chance to qualify, depending on ITALY’s performance, nothing’s impossible.”
