During the World Cup, they will be contributing to every area of the organisation. And “they” are the 12,000 Volunteers who have generously laid their enthusiasm and skills at the service of FRANCE 98.
A real challenge for the CFO, which now has before it the task of managing the biggest Volunteer Programme ever undertaken in France.

TOGETHER
The success of FRANCE 98 will depend not only on the excitement of the competition and which team lifts the World Cup trophy, but also on the quality of the reception and services we shall be providing for everyone involved: players, delegations, officials, journalists, spectators and guests. To make this happen, volunteers will be essential to the French Organising Committee. This is a given fact which has also become a tradition. Volunteers have played their part in many big events over the past few years, the Albertville Winter Olympics being one example. And FRANCE 98 will be maintaining this tradition, as 12,000 Volunteers are to participate in the organisation of the World Cup, making the venture the biggest Volunteer Programme ever undertaken in France. Those on the programme, another “winning team”, will have the chance to experience an unforgettable event from the inside. They will be giving their all to ensure that FRANCE 98 is a really warm and friendly celebration.
