The FIFA Disciplinary Committee announced the following disciplinary measures on Sunday 14 June:
- Patrick KLUIVERT (9) of the NETHERLANDS will be suspended for 2 matches after he was sent off during match no. 8, NETHERLANDS-BELGIUM (Group E) on Saturday 13 June. He will miss his team’s next two matches against MEXICO and the KOREA REPUBLIC.
- Ju Seok HA (17) of the KOREA REPUBLIC will be suspended for 1 match after he was sent off during match no. 9, the KOREA REPUBLIC-MEXICO (Group E). He will miss his team’s next match against the NETHERLANDS. Anatoli NANKOV (16) of BULGARIA is also suspended for one match after he was sent off after getting his second yellow card during match no. 7, PARAGUAY-BULGARIA (Group D). He will miss Bulgaria’s next match against NIGERIA.
