Brazil-France Final: the Brazilians are thrilled

“It’s wonderful!” Mario ZAGALLO, coach for the BRAZIL team, rejoiced as he found out FRANCE had qualified for the final. “It will be the greatest match possible, the one that everyone had been dreaming of: a final between BRAZIL and FRANCE… in PARIS. But be careful, BRAZIL is not playing this final just for the fun of it, they’re playing to win. This match will be both interesting and difficult. I hope that it will nevertheless be easier than the semi-final against the Dutch. That one was quite tough”.

DUNGA (8), the captain, also commented on the semi-final before expressing his opinion on the match which awaits the Seleçao on Sunday at SAINT-DENIS (21h00). “Extra time and penalty kicks are only for the strong of heart, which under those circumstances, beats 180 times a minute. Not everyone can take that. In this final match against FRANCE, my last with the team, we will need the strength of eleven lions to battle it out on that pitch. Eleven Dungas”.

The Brazilian players were thrilled to be taking part in this final competition.
