“We’ve done it. We’ve spent two months together and it has all finished in the best possible way. It simply couldn’t be better. We’ll go down in history. The scoreline perfectly reflects our domination and I, or Christophe DUGARRY (21) could have made it four of five. It was a marvellous match, we played as a team, defensively, in midfield and in attack. We’re over the moon. It’s only in sport that such intensity is possible. We drank some champagne in the changing rooms but Manu (PETIT-17) spilled it all”.
