“This match against BRAZIL is one of the most important that DENMARK will play. We’re positive and have confidence in our methods. I don’t have any particular secrets, but we’ll have to play as well as we did against NIGERIA – a meeting that I see as a yardstick. All twenty two players are ready to give their all and I’m not going to disclose the team until the last minute. I’m expecting a lot from SCHMEICHEL (1), who I believe is the best in the world in his position. For a match at this level, it’s a necessity to have a goalkeeper who you can rely on. I’ve not really studied BRAZIL’s game – well, only for five minutes yesterday, and tonight I’ll see. Much has been made of RONALDO’s (9) injury, but I’m not counting on that. Still, we won’t be marking him any differently.”
