Netherlands – G. Hiddink: “It is difficult to get the players motivated after being eliminated by Brazil”

Statement made in PARIS Friday, 10 July 1998

“It is difficult to get your players motivated after the disappointment of being eliminated by BRAZIL. I have spent a lot of time talking to them, but I think that when they go out onto the pitch tomorrow they will be motivated. I can’t give you the team’s starting line-up because there are a few injuries. Ronald DE BOER (7) has a few problems with his knee. As for Michael REIZIGER (2) and Aron WINTER (20), I don’t know yet whether they will play. There is also some doubt as to André OOIJER’s fitness (13).”
