“The team playing tomorrow evening (Monday 29 June) will be Edwin VAN DER SAR (1), Michael REIZIGER (2), Japp STAM (3), Frank DE BOER (4), Arthur NUMAN (5), Ronald DE BOER (7), Clarence SEEDORF (10), Edgar DAVIDS (16), Marc OVERMARS (14), Phillipe COCU (11), Dennis BERGKAMP (8). If the Yugoslavians play an offensive game, I can see a great match ahead. As for Patrick KLUIVERT (9), he was suspended for two matches. He played well in training, but there are a lot of others who played just as well, so I didn’t pick him for this match. I don’t want to change the COCU-BERGKAMP combination that, up until now, has worked really well. It’s the same for SEEDORF (10) and DAVIDS (16) who haven’t played previously; I am very confident because they train together everyday, and should do well. The Yugoslavians are a good team, with players capable of making a difference all on their own. We’ll need to watch out for Dragon STOKOVIC (10) and Pedrag MIJATOVIC (9) in defence.
