FRANCE 98 – The French team trained during the inaugural match

The 22 players on the FRANCE team (Group C) were not able to see the inaugural BRAZIL-SCOTLAND match live (2-1, Group A). In order to prepare for the match against SOUTH AFRICA, Aimé JACQUET, the French coach, preferred to convene his team to a training session which was closed to the public, and cut short by heavy rains at the Centre technique national in Clairefontaine. Luckily the players were able to watch a video recording after they had dinner.
