Michael LAUDRUP (10):

“Playing a quarter final match against BRAZIL is fantastic, especially since it could be my last match in the national team. Whatever the result it will be a memorable game for me. Anyway, we’ll play to win, and we’ll have to play a perfect match. BRAZIL can be beaten; NORWAY have shown that, and SCOTLAND were unlucky by conceding the own-goal. We’re going to treat this quarter-final match like any other game.”

Brian LAUDRUP (11):

“Of course BRAZIL has some exceptional players, however they’re not the team who have really impressed me. We feared NIGERIA more than we do BRAZIL, and we beat them. BRAZIL have shown certain weaknesses in their games so far – and DENMARK have both physical and tactical advantages along with big-game experience. We mustn’t concentrate solely on our defence – we’ll play our usual game: I’d prefer to attack and lose rather than play defensively. I’ll take full advantage of any space left when the full-backs CAFU (2) and ROBERTO CARLOS (6) push forward.”

Miklos MOLNAR (9):

“To beat BRAZIL we must concentrate on not losing the ball in midfield – anything is possible then, when the pressure is on BRAZIL. We shouldn’t change our methods – they’ve proved successful so far, and we’ve shown that we can play big matches. I got my red card at the worst possible moment, especially as the player who replaced me played faultlessly. But I shouldn’t forget that we still have three more games to play – so I’ve still got a hope of playing.”
